WHY IS THE WAIT SO LONG SOMETIMES?
The short answer: The wait is long because the food is good and demand is high.
The long technical answer: All of our sandwiches are made to order, the way you order them, with all your modifications and dietary requests. At each location, there is a maximum number of sandwiches we can make at once, based on the size of our kitchen at that location. The unique way we make our sandwiches takes a little time, skill, and love. Our dedication to this idea is what made us so successful. We could cut corners and change the way we do things, but then it wouldn’t really be a classic Fried Egg I'm In Love sandwich anymore…
WHY DON’T YOU HAVE BURRITOS AND HASH BITES AT THE FOOD CART?
We’ve tried, but it seems that the carts are too small to efficiently offer burritos and sandwiches and hash bites. We’ve decided to focus on sandwiches only at the carts, which creates more efficiency in our operations. It allows us to get more food out each day.
DO YOU TAKE RESERVATIONS?
None of our locations take reservations. It’s first-come first serve here at Fried Egg I’m In Love. And on the busiest days, we stop answering phones to focus on the people in line.
DO YOU TAKE CREDIT CARDS?
Yes. And Apple/Google/Samsung Pay. And KUTO (https://kuto.app/).
WHAT'S HOLY AIOLI?
In short, it's a spicy garlic mayo, but just a bit saucier. We make a traditional aioli by hand, with garlic, oil, salt, pepper, and a little egg yolk. Then we add fresh lemon juice and spike it with our house habanero sauce.
WHAT'S 'MAGIC EGG DUST'?
It's a secret spice blend that we dust on every egg that we cook. The recipe is a secret, but you can buy some for yourself at our restaurant or in our online store.
WHAT SHOULD I GET?
If you're not sure what to get, just get the Yolko Ono. It's our most popular sandwich for a reason (because it's good). If you're really hungry, get the Yolko Zeppelin, a double version of the Yolko Ono.
I DON’T LIKE RUNNY YOLKS.
We can cook it hard for you, champ.
